Dear Zoe Partner

In last month’s Zoe partner letter, I explained the importance of renewing your mind with God’s Word in order to know God’s ways and how He operates. You have to set your mind, and keep it set on the Word of God, just like you set an alarm clock. The truth is, the majority of the time, when you’re going to God and praying about something, Jesus has already finished it. He’s already done it.

This month, I’m going to disclose Step #3: “You must renew your mind and thoughts with the Word on prosperity.

You can root out all thoughts and worldly beliefs that you gathered while growing up by renewing your mind with the Word of God, which promises you that, as a child of God, total-life prosperity is your divine heritage.

The Bible tells us in Romans 2:12 “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” Transformation starts in the mind. Renewing your mind and your thought-life is a vital step in the process to prosperity.

In late May and June of 2013, I taught a series at our church entitled Taming the Mind to Receive the Finished Work of Grace. In this teaching, I explained that living under the new covenant of grace means resigning from our own performance in order to receive the finished works of Christ by faith. I also shared that the reason why certain things have not manifested in our lives is because when our minds are out of control, and don’t line up with the Word of God, this hinders us from receiving all that Jesus has provided—including financial prosperity.

Real spiritual warfare, the place where your enemy—the devil—attacks you, is in your mind. He’s constantly telling you what you don’t have, even when you’re confessing what you do have because of the finished works of Christ. Jesus said the thief comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but He (Jesus) came to give you life. (John 10:10). This is why you must allow your mind to reflect on the Word of God. It’s time for you to become smart in warfare and war tactics. Warfare does not consist of you fighting the devil. Jesus has already won, and He has stripped the devil of all authority. In real spiritual warfare, you maintain what Jesus obtained, knowing what you already have.

As Believers, our lives should demonstrate a lifetime commitment to renew our minds so that we agree with God. Success is based in right thinking, and failure is based in wrong thinking. You have the finished works of Jesus Christ residing inside of you. But you must renew your mind to this truth, because what you don’t believe won’t manifest! Mind renewal positions you to receive the finished work of prosperity. Your faith must go into the past—what has already been done—to lay hold of prosperity. Your victory comes when you know how to withdraw those spiritual blessings that God has made available to you because of Christ’s finished works (Ephesians 1:3). You withdraw them by recognizing and admitting their existence. Physical blessings are spiritual blessings materialized.

Begin to place a demand on what is already in you so that it will come forth. God supplies all of your demands according to the supply that is in you (Philippians 4:19). Add your agreement, in words, actions, and lifestyle, with what has been done in Christ. God wants you whole in every area of your life, and grace is the power of God that will bring you to wholeness.

Precious Zoe partner, I dare you to pick out your destination—a destination of the finished works of Jesus Christ—and watch the Holy Spirit show up and take you to that reality as you follow His leading. The Spirit of God knows about your future. He will lead and guide you into all truth.

In Christ,
