Creflo Dollar Ministries

Dear Zoe Partner

It’s a brand new year, and I am thrilled about what you will experience. I am especially passionate about people knowing how to prosper in every area of their lives—including their finances. Therefore, this year, I will intensely focus on imparting more revelation about grace to you, as well as sharing more insight concerning prosperity.

Years ago, God gave me 14 practical steps to receiving total-life prosperity, which I will impart to you over the course of this year. The first step is to be assured that God is always with us. Hebrews 13:5, in the Amplified Bible, spells it out clearly:

Let your character or moral disposition be free from love of money [including greed, avarice, lust, and craving for earthly possessions] and be satisfied with your present [circumstances and with what you have]; for He [God] Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. [I will] not, [I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let [you] down (relax My hold on you)! [Assuredly not!]

The first thing we have to notice under the new covenant is God’s proximity to us. Have you ever felt like God is far away from you and the things you deal with in your everyday life? If so, that is not true. In reality, under the new covenant, God is so close to Believers that we are inseparable.

This should be the baseline for your relationship with God. Since you are born again in Christ, there is nothing that can ever separate you from God. He lives in you, permanently. Upon this foundation of prosperity there’s a second thing you need to understand. What happens as a result of God being with you always? Remember what the Bible declares about Joseph in Genesis 39:2. Let’s take a look.

And the Lord was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian.

What I love the most about this scripture is the timing of what was said about Joseph. These words were said when Joseph was a slave! Now, what does this mean for you today? Think about it. You have something even better than Joseph. The Spirit of God was with Joseph, but He’s in you. So, like Joseph, your confidence in knowing that God is always in you and with you makes you prosperous. This means that no matter where you may appear to be presently in your life, you’re already prosperous because Jesus is with you.

It’s time for us to begin to boldly declare that God is with us and we are already prosperous because of Jesus. What’s critical for us to understand is that when we received Jesus we received all that He is. Not only is Jesus with us, but He is the full embodiment of everything we need. He is our salvation—our healing, deliverance, wholeness, protection, righteousness, wisdom—and our prosperity.

So prosperity in your finances is not some destination that you are trying to achieve from God. Prosperity is a person. His name is Jesus. Now that you’ve received Him, you’ve received all of the blessings of God, which abide inside of your born-again spirit. You have already been made prosperous because of Jesus. It’s time for you to focus on the ever-abiding presence of God that resides with you. This is the source of your prosperity.

Every day, I want you to focus on the fact that Jesus’ presence is the source of your prosperity. Reports about the economy, your bank account, employment, background—none of these things determine your identity in Christ, or your future. Like Joseph, you can boldly declare: I am prosperous because the Lord is with me.

As God manifests His prosperity in your life, which has already been provided through the finished works of Jesus, I pray that all you desire and need will be fulfilled in great measure, and at the same time you’ll be blessed to be a blessing in the lives of others. I appreciate every partner and friend of this ministry who has sown precious seed that enables us to take this message all around the world. We cannot do it without you. I pray that God’s blessings be upon you in this new year.

In Christ,
